Each user has default settings that can be overridden in the user preferences.
Note: these settings are not only applicable for the current user logged in.
If you log in with another user you will obtain his settings.
For local user settings, see also Toolbars.
Using the menu select Tools > Configuration to access the general configuration window.
Click the User preference- icon to access its settings.
In the General tab of the User Preferences you can modify general user information.
- unchecked : all rows that contain the search string are shown to choose from.
- checked: when a row's name matches the search string, then that row is picked, regardless of other rows that contain the search string. When no row's name matches the search string, the selection is shown, just as if it were unchecked.
Note: the number of queries lies in the interval 1 to 5000.

When the From date <= report date and the report date <= Until date, then the row is valid and selected.

SAP role name display style
You can customize the SAP role name display style.
Selecting one of the following radio buttons will hide or unhide the columns in the grid:

By default the authorization values (in codification & role authorization tab) are always in CAPS.
By changing the Upper case input and activate the Virtual shift lock, you will type capitals when you normal write small caps and visa versa.
Warning:
The data is also case sensitive so you can add a value twice (caps/no caps).
In the ‘Codification’ tab of the user preferences you can modify the appearance and settings of the codification.

This option is accessible via the preferences for a codification too.

The auto sort option will sort the list after adding related data.
If this option is not on the order of input will be maintained until refreshed (reloaded).
The bulk/normal save will use a different save method.
The bulk method will gather all queries in query blocks and parse them to the SQL server.
While the normal method will parse each query to the SQL server.
