User settings

• Using the menu select Tools > Configuration to access the general configuration window.

• Click the User preference- icon to access its settings.

In the General tab of the User Preferences you can modify general user information.

 

General

• Choose server after startup: check to choose a server to connect to after startup.
• Load file info on open: check to load file information on open.
• Lock record on open: check to lock a record on open.
• Lock table on open: check to lock a table on open.
• Risk first in process tree: show Risks above Control Objectives in Process Tree Decomposition.
• Unlock record after save: check to unlock a record after it was already saved.
• Use item if perfect match:

- unchecked : all rows that contain the search string are shown to choose from.

- checked: when a row's name matches the search string, then that row is picked, regardless of other rows that contain the search string. When no row's name matches the search string, the selection is shown, just as if it were unchecked.

• Save record when leaving window: check so that when you close/leave a window all records will be automatically saved.
• Don't use DTS: This avoids an import failure when DTS is not installed.
• Calculate selected items: a select list will show the number of items checked.
  This option can be unchecked to avoid waiting time for calculating the number of selected items in case of many rows.
• Monitor timer interval: specify the time interval in milli seconds.
• Estimated time left interval:
• Number of queries in single block for bulk save: specify the number of queries in a single block for bulk save.

Note: the number of queries lies in the interval 1 to 5000.

 

Concept folders and files

• Help file : the location of the help file. This setting has precedence over the application help file setting.
• Report path : the location of the crystal report file. (*.rpt files). The user preferences report path overwrites the application preferences report path.
• Default export directory: the file dialog box of the export forms that ask for Access files will take this path as their default location.

 

Grid settings

• Row information:
  By selecting or deselecting checkboxes, it can be specified what grid displays status bar info.
  • View grid: display status info in a table view grid.
  • Selection grid: display status info in selection of items grids.
  • Related data grid: display status info in related data grids.
  • Library grid: display status info in library grid.
  • Codification grid: display status info in codification sheets.
  • General grid: display status info in any grid that is none of the above.

 

• Apply row filter on enter key press.
  The filter row is by default applied after pressing the enter key. Otherwise the filter is applied instantaneous when typing text in the filter text box.

  Note : this is also true for check boxes, press enter to apply.

• Load complete filter list : when checked, a grid column filter will load a list of all distinct values in the grid for that column. Otherwise, only the standard filter values ( like (list) (custom) …) will appear.

 

Report date

• Use current date: use date today.
• Ask once per session: date can be chosen per login session.
• Always ask for report date: ask report date each time before calculating validity.

 

Note : Items that have a validity period can have rows selected in comparison with the report date.
When the From date <= report date and the report date <= Until date, then the row is valid and selected.

 

Period

• Last active: last active period chosen.
• User choice: present user with drop down box on login to select the period from the periods master data.
• Automatic: Take first active period by current date.

 

Export Excel

• Export to MS Excel 2007: export grid views default to Excel 2007 format.

 

Export Access

• Save method: select the save method from the drop down list.
• Access 97 : export grid views default to Access 97 format.
• Access 2000 : export grid views default to Access 2000 format.
• Access 2007 : export grid views default to Access 2007 format.

In this tab you can modify the layout and appearance of CSI Accelerator.

 

General

Choose the desired styles and color schemas for the appearance of CSI Accelerator.

• Display style: in the drop down menu corresponding to this option select a display style for the appearance of CSI Accelerator.
• Color schema: in the drop down menu corresponding to this option select a color schema for the appearance of the CSI Accelerator.
• Codification excel style: flag this option so that the sheet tabs in a codification will appear as the sheet tabs in an excel document.
  Otherwise these sheet tabs will be positioned in the upper part of the codification

 

Color

This option allows to select colors for following items:

• Drop back color: select the color from the drop down menu.
• Drop back color 2: select the color from the drop down menu.
• Drop gradient style: select the color from the drop down menu.
• Drop fore color: select the color from the drop down menu.
• Line color tree view: select the color from the drop down menu.
• Line color grid: select the color from the drop down menu.

 

Background picture

• Choose a picture from a folder.

Note: save after modifying the settings for actions to take effect.

• Ask: show menu with choice between Open, Locate and Open and locate.
• Open: open the library item.
• Locate: locate the relational library item in the hierarchical decomposition (domains and roles).

• Load codification values when loading role authorization values: when loading the authorization values of a role, do following action for the corresponding codification values:
  • Disabled : the corresponding codification values are never loaded.
  • Immediately : the corresponding codification values are always loaded.
  • On demand : the codification values are loaded when using the menu.
• Show authorization update information message:check to show an overview message of the updated authorizations.

 

SAP role name display style

You can customize the SAP role name display style.

Selecting one of the following radio buttons will hide or unhide the columns in the grid:

• Full : Display full name
• Detailed: Display detailed name
• Full and Detailed: Display full and detailed name

 

SAP role change naming

Role naming can be changed locally or can be calculated on the server.

Selecting one of the following radio buttons makes this choice:

• Ask user : ask when applying role naming.
• Do changes in memory (local): do role naming changes on local machine.
• Do changes on server: do role naming directly in the database.

Upload filenames
These are the settings for the export to text functionality for the roles.

  • <<date>>: date of export
  • <<time>>: time of export.

By default the authorization values (in codification & role authorization tab) are always in CAPS.
By changing the Upper case input and activate the Virtual shift lock, you will type capitals when you normal write small caps and visa versa.

Warning:
The data is also case sensitive so you can add a value twice (caps/no caps).

 

In the ‘Codification’ tab of the user preferences you can modify the appearance and settings of the codification.
